Outreach : Relief Efforts

East African Drought and Starvation

East Africa is experiencing its worst drought in decades, causing widespread hunger, starvation, and displacement of people from their homes. Prayers and monetary donations are greatly needed. To learn more, or to make a secure, online donation, visit Reformed Church World Service (RCWS), DoctorsWithoutBorders.org, or GlobalGiving.org. You may also mail a check to Reformed Church in America, Attn: Finance Office, 4500 60th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512 (please designate your check "Africa Hunger").

Ongoing Relief Efforts

New Hope supports relief efforts in the United States and around the world through Reformed Church World Service (RCWS). During times of disaster or critical need, special collections are taken at New Hope and sent to RCWS for efficient use and distribution. You may also donate at any time by visiting the RCWS Donations Page, where you can make a secure online payment and choose the project you'd like to support. For more information on how these funds are used, please see the RCWS Financial Trust and Transparency Policy.
