Our Beliefs
New Hope’s faith and practices are guided by the following primary beliefs.
- The Bible is the Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of those who have faith in Him.
- We believe in the historic Christian faith as confessed in The Apostles’ Creed.
As a ministry of The Reformed Church in America, New Hope also affirms specific statements of belief called creeds and confessions. These shape our faith and practices as a church.
- Heidelberg Catechism
- Belgic Confession
- Canons of Dort
- The Confession of Belhar
- Nicene Creed
- Creed of Athanasius
For more information on what we believe, please see our mission and purpose which are grounded in these beliefs.
